A leading Engineering firm providing innovative planning, engineering, architectural, construction and program management, and design-build projects is seeking a Civil Engineer.  Position is for the design of roadway and drainage projects for municipal, site development and transportation projects  in the public and private sector. Responsibilities:

• Prepare design documents for roadway, grading, drainage, site-development and transportation projects
• Research jurisdictional drainage requirements to implement in design and construction drawings
• Prepare drainage design and construction drawings using AutoCAD and research information obtained
• Conduct site visits and document findings
• Attend project meetings, record and distribute meeting minutes and assist with correspondence
• Prepare graphic materials for project presentations and documents
• Plan production and coordination throughout all project phases

Requirements:

• Minimum 8+ years of experience in roadway, grading and drainage design
• Licensed Engineer is highly preferred but not required
• Bachelors in Civil Engineering or equivalent
• Proficient in AutoCAD Civil 3D
• Proficient in MicroStation, HEC RAS/HEC HMS and ArcGIS is a plus
• Good verbal and written communication skills and ability to present in a meeting and convey technical ideas
• Ability to prepare civil engineering documents and specifications
