Graduate Research Assistant, Civil, UTRGV, Edinburg, TX August 2017 – Present

 Performed critical roles in securing and implementing a $15,000 research project about water harvesting from sea atmosphere. Roles include, but not limited to, preparation of the proposal, data collection, data analysis, and collaboration with other academic fields such as chemistry and environmental science.

 Actively involved in the construction of efficient mechanism for an atmospheric water harvester within a limited budget. Built stand-alone power supplies for lab dehumidification units. The ultimate objective of the research, was to properly develop and to introduce a new methodology for analyzing water quality of the humidity.

 Assisted in preparing and organizing a water quality-testing lab for the Civil Engineering department, UTRGV.

 Built and organized a laboratory user manual archive to be used on-site.

Independent Consultant, Water Treatment Plant, Edinburg, TX August 2016 – Present

 Received hands on training on plant water treatment processes for disinfection and filtration as well as plant operation, instrumentation, and control.

 Used my engineering academic knowledge and reached to consult on installing different types of pumps with impellers made from optimal alloys able to withstand cavitation.

 Assisted plant supervisors to optimize plant O&M.

Research Assistant, Office for Sustainability, UTRGV, Edinburg, TX August 2013 – December 2016

 Reached to learn the Return on Investment (ROI) analysis for small utility vehicles on campus from being solar powered.

 Developed cost saving proposals to the Office of the Vice President of Business Affairs to install solar panel and high capacity rechargeable batteries to achieve 4-year ROI.
